This study focuses on the vocabulary of Rize folk songs identified from the TRT Repertoire. The texts of these songs were obtained from the Repertükül website and printed sources. The vocabulary analysis was not limited to individual words; word groups were also included in this analysis. Words and word groups were first examined according to their themes and then according to their types. Previous lexical classifications were used to determine the themes, and subheadings were created accordingly. Words that indicate type, such as verbs, adjectives, adverbs, pronouns, reduplications, and set phrases, were also classified under the lexical heading according to their type. Noun and adjective phrases found in the folk songs were identified, and the number of phrases was determined. In addition to these, compound verbs were also identified. Words with dialectal characteristics, distinct from the written language of Turkish, were examined under a separate heading. The words are listed alphabetically under the relevant headings. This study aims to conduct a linguistic analysis of Rize folk songs, which have not been examined in this way before.
